Trade policy impacts everything: from our rights at work, to our public services; from the origins of our food, to the quality of our water. So what would a better trade system look like? This discussion will explore what opportunities there are to build a better trade system that truly serves the needs of people and planet.

This event will be chaired by Ruth Bergan, Senior Adviser at the Trade Justice Movement, and we are delighted to welcome the following participants:

  • Vicente Yu, UN consultant and Senior Legal Adviser at Third World Network
  • Charlotte Timson, Chief Executive of Traidcraft Exchange
  • Rosa Crawford, Policy Officer at the TUC
  • James Harrison, Professor in the School of Law at the University of Warwick

The speaker discussion will be followed by time for audience questions.
